Guilty Beer is a multiplayer game developed during the Global Game Jam of January 2015 (48 hours game development) . The theme of this gamejam was “What do we do now”. It was located in Epitech Nancy.
You’re waking up with a hangover. Wait. There is a corpse in the middle of your living room. A cop is on its way. How will you prove that you’re innocent ? Charge your friends. Hide evidence in their rooms. But don’t get caught by Pedro, the intrepid detective.
I had to give as fast as I could a concept to my team and to create a consensus to make the development start as fast as we could.
An efficient GDD is essential when we have short deadlines. We can’t develop a feature or create an asset if we don’t know precisely how it will work in-game.
Create a game 48 hours is a excellent project management exercise. Our objective is to have a playable prototype wit extremely short deadlines. They’re will be many problems and as a project manager and game designer, I’ll have to deal with them.
Sound List, Art List for music, sounds, animations, etc.
We need to know what the team will create and to make sure that the developers will put them in the final game.
